Winter Recipes: Winter Spiced Chyavanprash DrinkÂ
During winter, digestion slows and immunity needs extra support—this spiced Chyavanprash drink offers both in one comforting cup.
Ingredients (for 1 cup):Â

1 cup whole milk (or almond milk)Â

1–2 tsp ChyawanprashÂ

½ tsp cinnamon powderÂ
-
A pinch of nutmegÂ
-
¼ tsp cardamom powderÂ
-
A small piece of fresh ginger (grated, optional, for extra warmth)Â
-
Jaggery to taste (add after cooling slightly)Â
Recipe:Â
-Warm the milk in a small pan on low heat.Â
-Add Chyavanprash and stir until fully dissolved.Â
-Add cinnamon, cardamom, nutmeg, and ginger.Â
-Simmer for 2–3 minutes on very low heat — do not boil vigorously.Â
-Remove from heat, let it cool slightly, then add jaggery if desired.Â
-Drink warm, preferably 30–60 minutes before bedtime.Â
